Job summary
Within Therapies we have an opportunity for a Administrative/Clerical Receptionist to join a 20+ strong administrative team across four main therapy departments. The job involves supporting therapy services to maintain Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments out puts across the sites.
The post is to be based at Grantham District Hospital with travel to other sites in line with business need and training requirements. This position is for 37.5 hours per week .
Main duties of the job
To ensure patients receive appointments within the local and national targets set.
To ensure patients and staff receive all relevant information in a timely, accurate and effective way.
To ensure all data relating to patients is captured in a timely and accurate manner. To provide a customer focused booking service.
To provide reception services, to relevant areas in a professional, understanding and courteous manner.
To follow agreed procedures and protocols.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Qualifications Essential
GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualification/ experience or NVQ Level 2 in relative subject, i.e. Customer Care skills or Administration (or equivalent qualification) or at least working towards

CLAIT or European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent

Experience of working in a customer care or office environment
