About the Role
We’re looking for an analytical and results-driven Amazon PPC Manager to take full ownership of our advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Amazon’s advertising ecosystem (Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon DSP) and proven experience in optimizing PPC campaigns to drive sales, profitability, and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Management
Develop and execute comprehensive Amazon PPC strategies for multiple client accounts across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaignsManage client advertising budgets ranging from $20K to $200K+ monthly while maintaining target ACoS, TACoS, and ROAS goalsConduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market opportunity assessments for diverse product categoriesOptimize campaign structure, bidding strategies, and budget allocation across client portfoliosImplement advanced PPC tactics including dayparting, placement optimization, and audience targetingStay ahead of Amazon platform updates and test new advertising features for client benefit
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a small team of PPC specialists (2-4 team members)Establish efficient workflows and SOPs for campaign management and client reportingProvide hands-on training and quality assurance for junior team membersDelegate client accounts and campaigns based on team capacity and skill levelFoster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture in our boutique environment
Client Management
Serve as primary point of contact for key client accountsLead client strategy calls and quarterly business reviewsTranslate client goals into actionable PPC strategiesCommunicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations clearly and proactivelyManage client expectations and provide consultative guidance on Amazon advertising best practicesIdentify upsell opportunities and contribute to client retention efforts
Analytics & Reporting
Build and maintain customized reporting dashboards for client accountsDeliver monthly performance reports with strategic insights and action itemsConduct regular audits of client accounts to identify optimization opportunitiesPerform A/B testing on ad copy, creative assets, and bidding strategiesTrack competitor activity and market trends across client categories

Minimum 4 years of hands-on Amazon PPC management experience, preferably in an agency settingProven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyTrack record managing combined monthly ad budgets of $100K+ with demonstrable ROI improvements1-2+ years of team leadership or mentorship experienceStrong client-facing communication skills and ability to build trusted relationshipsDeep expertise with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon Advertising ConsoleProficiency with PPC analytics and reporting tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, or similar)Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and custom reportingSelf-starter mentality with ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a digital marketing or Amazon-focused agencyExposure to Amazon DSP and Amazon AttributionFamiliarity with third-party PPC management platforms (Perpetua, Teikametrics, Skai, etc.)Knowledge of Amazon SEO and organic ranking factorsExperience across diverse product categories (consumables, electronics, home goods, etc.)Understanding of full-funnel marketing strategiesCertification in Amazon AdvertisingExperience with client onboarding and new business pitchesPreferred QualificationsExperience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously.Knowledge of SEO and listing optimization.Experience with DSP and external traffic sources (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) is advantageous.
