About the Role
We’re seeking an Inventory Planner to take ownership of demand planning and inventory management as we scale to hundreds of thousands of units. Today, planning is done primarily in Excel and handled ad hoc by multiple team members. You will bring structure, rigor, and data-driven decision-making to ensure we have the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end inventory planning across categories and channels for Canada and the USAnalyze historical sales, launches, and seasonal trends to build demand forecasts and buy plansTranslate forecasts into purchase orders and replenishment recommendations in partnership with Merchandising and OperationsMaintain and improve Excel-based tools and models for demand and inventory planning; recommend future systems as we scaleMonitor inventory levels, sell-through, weeks of supply, and stock-out/overstock risk; take proactive actionSupport new product launches with buy quantities, size/color/style curves (as applicable), and risk scenariosPartner with Operations, Logistics, and Finance to align on lead times, MOQs, cash flow, and margin impactProvide monthly and ad hoc reporting on inventory health and performance to leadershipIdentify process and tooling improvements to reduce manual work and planning errors
Requirements
3–5+ years experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or merchandise planning (DTC, retail, or wholesale)Proven experience planning at scale (hundreds of thousands of units)Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; able to build and maintain complex planning modelsStrong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with large data setsExperience turning data into clear recommendations and action plansDetail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple launches and seasons at onceComfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-growing, high-change environment
