If you are excited by working on this ambitious goal, then keep reading further!We are looking for an Audio Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a passion for working with multidisciplinary teams in order to bring new and complex audio technologies to life in a fast paced environment. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires demonstrated experience leading research and engineering initiatives, program management, clear communication, and influential leadership skills.The candidate will help structure new programs and projects in alignment with roadmaps, ensure prioritization with cross-functional alignment, build detailed milestones and execution plans, ensure end-to-end delivery, while providing updates through transparent and concise communication.

Technical Program Manager - Audio Research Responsibilities: Autonomously develop and lead complex cross-functional program plans (including milestones, schedules, staffing) in a large matrixed organization spanning research, engineering, product management, architects, and user experienceStructure new programs and projects, develop end-to-end execution plans for on-time delivery across Audio research and AR/MR product organizationsCollaboratively build technical roadmaps, proactively identifying dependencies, constraints, and risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies, aligning priorities to secure successful executionLead challenging discussions across partner teams to coordinate and secure alignment to ensure successful deliveryProvide ongoing, timely communication regarding planning, status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Distill complex technical details into clear, concise updates for program stakeholders and executive managementSupport the development of technical program management best practicesdesign, build, and scale processes and systems to drive team efficiency and program effectivenessMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field7+ years of proven experience in the technology industry as a technical program manager or engineering manager, leading complex research and engineering programs focused on feature development, including algorithms research (DSP and machine learning) and their integration into product delivery roadmapsDemonstrated experience guiding cross-functional teams through the full software development lifecycle, including driving technical maturation using structured frameworks (e.g., Tech Readiness Levels)Adept at navigating ambiguity, skilled at facilitating timely decisions, and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiencesTrack record of building and launching 0→1 products, driving initiatives from concept to deliveryEffective communication skills across a wide variety of disciplines, experience levels, and technical/non-technical backgroundsAbility to prioritize, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and consistently meet deadlinesPreferred Qualifications: Graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical disciplineExperience developing and launching novel audio technologies and devicesAbout Meta:

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
