Design Program Managers at Meta are connectors and problem solvers. By supporting the various aspects of the product teams, you will enable teams to focus their time on designing, building and shipping products. You will improve team communication, collaboration and remove roadblocks. Finally, you'll utilize a full range of organizational and demonstrated communication skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to grow team health, subject-matter knowledge and team impact, and you'll have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams as you establish great ways of working together.
Design Program Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities: Identify and drive large product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines and many moving parts - Roadmapping & Design PlanningPrioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate strategicallyDefine and manage strategic initiatives that improve product team efficiency and impactOwn and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives and establish clear next steps and owners, while resolving blocks that impede progressProactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teamsSought out as the operations subject-matter expert to the management team and trusted leader to cross-functional partnersCommunicate persuasively to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback and distribute information effectivelyDefine and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoptionDesign Portfolio Reporting & TrackingScale programs and initiatives when necessaryOperationalize & influence Design sprintsDrive and support Design quality, craft, education effortsMinimum Qualifications: 4+ years of experience working with product design teams from roadmapping through deliveryExperience working directly with product designers, user experience researchers, and content designersTrack record of operating under your own initiative and without oversightExperience leading product or business strategy in a time-sensitive environmentExperience using data to identify problems and communicate solutionsExperience managing time-critical projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a wide-range of stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications: FigmaInterest in WhatsAppAbout Meta:
