Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Azure Data Platform Ownership
Own and manage the Azure environment supporting Distribution Excellence use casesMaintain and monitor key services (e.g., data pipelines, storage, integration components)Coordinate with IT / platform teams on access, security, and governance 2. ETL Process Management
Maintain and enhance existing ETL pipelines (data extraction, transformation, loading)Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and ensure timely resolutionOptimize data flows for performance and scalabilityEnsure proper documentation of data transformations and logic 3. SQL & Data Modeling
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries supporting reporting and analyticsManage data models used for Power BI datasets and reporting layersEnsure data consistency across multiple sourcesPerform root cause analysis for data discrepancies 4. Power BI Reporting & Analytics
Ensure overall ownership and governance of Power BI reporting solutionsSupervise and guide the development and maintenance of dashboardsOversee report performance optimization, usability, and scalabilityEnsure proper management of dataset refreshes, data models, and workspace governanceValidate translation of business requirements into robust and scalable reporting solutions 5. Data Governance & Quality
Ensure data quality, completeness, and reliability across all reporting layersImplement controls and validation logic within ETL and reporting processesSupport audit requirements by ensuring traceability of data sources and transformationsDefine and document data definitions and KPIs 6. Business Partnership (Distribution Excellence)
Collaborate with Distribution Excellence teams to understand reporting needsProvide actionable insights on distributor performance and risksSupport performance management processes with reliable analyticsBridge the gap between technical data structures and business requirements 7. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate manual processesImprove data architecture and simplify existing solutionsIntroduce best practices in data engineering and reporting 8. Team Coordination
Provide guidance and prioritization for assigned team memberEnsure continuity, knowledge sharing, and delivery reliability across reporting solutions Required Qualifications
Experience
6+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence rolesProven hands-on experience with Azure-based data platforms (e.g., Data Factory, Azure SQL, or similar)Strong experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelinesExperience working with end-to-end data flows (from source systems to reporting layer)Experience supporting business/reporting functions (not purely IT-focused role)Experience in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholdersExperience in coordinating or guiding other team members is an advantage Why Join Us?
