Job Description
Position Summary
The Vice President, Europe - Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) is responsible for full strategic, commercial, and operational leadership of the APM business across the European region. This executive directs a comprehensive, multi-level, cross-functional organization including sales, marketing, professional education, pricing, business intelligence, and strategy.
This role owns regional P&L performance, drives interpersonal development and transformation, and ensures alignment with global corporate and international strategies. The VP serves as the senior-most regional representative with external partners and is accountable for governance, regulatory compliance, and advancing market adoption of APM solutions across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Develop and implement the European strategy across sales, marketing, professional education, pricing, and business intelligenceAlign regional business plans with corporate and international APM strategyPartner closely with Market Access and Government Affairs to deliver strategic recommendations and influence executive decision-makingProvide clear and effective executive-level communication across functions P&L Ownership & Operational Excellence
Maintain full ownership of regional P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, and financial forecastingLead all regional financial activities and ensure principled operational executionOptimize regional processes by identifying needs and leading implementation of scalable solutionsLead all aspects of and approve critical enterprise-level initiatives and regional projects Leadership & Transformation
Evaluate current interpersonal structures, business models, and priorities across EuropeBuild and implement an optimized regional operating model to support growthLead and implement large-scale transformation initiatives across countries Talent & Leadership Development
Develop and implement a robust talent strategy, including succession planning aligned with regional growth objectivesProvide leadership, mentorship, and direction to multi-level leadership teamsPartner with HR across all aspects of employee relations, including hiring, development, and performance management External Engagement & Market Development
Build and sustain relationships with customers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical societies, and government agenciesDrive awareness, adoption, and value positioning of APM solutionsServe as the primary regional representative to regulatory authorities and national professional organizations Governance, Compliance & Culture
Serve as a steward of APM culture, values, and ethical business practices across EuropeEnsure compliance with all local regulatory, legal, and corporate requirementsMaintain direct accountability for governance, risk management, and compliance Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience
Proven leadership experience in a multi-country, multicultural, matrixed business environmentDemonstrated success with full P&L ownership for a large regionExtensive experience in healthcare, medical devices, or related industriesDeep understanding of commercial operations, marketing, and strategy executionProficiency in English required; additional European languages preferred Leadership Competencies
