We are seekinga graduateto join the EMEA Capital Markets Operations team at Broadridge, supporting corporate actions activity across multiple markets.
This role is suited to someone who isorganized, analytical, and eager to developwithin financial markets operations, while contributing to a well-controlled and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:Support the Corporate Actions team across EMEA markets, ensuringtimely, accurate, and well-controlledprocessing of events.Assist in investigating and resolving dividend and coupon breaks, includingreviewing and helping resolvepayable and receivable claims.Monitor incoming claims andescalate matters appropriatelyto senior team members where needed.Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholdersto support the resolution and closure of open payables and receivables.Perform reconciliations across systems and accounts, identifying, investigating, and flagging discrepanciesin a timely manner.Ensure adherence to market deadlines, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures,with a strong focus on risk awareness.Maintain accurate records and documentation of corporate actions activities,supporting auditability and operational transparency.Support process improvement and automation initiatives within the team, while collaborating with colleagues to ensureefficient day-to-day operations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.Internship or placement experience in financial services isadvantageous but not required.Strong academic performance with ademonstrated interestin financial markets and operations.Basic orfoundationalunderstanding of financial products and trade lifecycle concepts ispreferred, though not essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools..Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issuesthoughtfully and apply sound judgment.High attention to detail, effective time management, anda clear sense of ownership and accountabilitywhen handling tasks and transactions.Strong communication and collaboration skills, learning agility, andawareness of controls, escalation protocols, and operational processes;Familiarity with SWIFT messages, wire payments, and SSI setup would be an advantage.#LI-DS1 #LI-Hybrid
