The Customer Service Manager (CSM) is responsible for ensuring a great customer experience to our contractors. You lead a team of associates focused on sales, product placement, product promotions, inventory accuracy, branch cleanliness and team development while driving sales and completing orders. This role is a “working manager” and is expected to also perform warehousing responsibilities including picking, organizing, and staging customer pickups.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Manage the daily operation of a wholesale/distribution branch and ensure orders are efficiently received, filled, and shippedEnsure the branch meets sales targets and establishes strong relationships with customersProvide next level customer serviceMonitor warehouse inventory levels, the reordering of items, and transaction record keepingOversee building/equipment maintenance Order Entry for Walk-in businessAttention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks are done accuratelyOversee the work of branch associates, ensuring they are properly trainedAdministrative tasks - accounts payable functions, process customer cash and credit card payments, processing customer orders/filing
Required Experience and Skills
Management and/or sales experienceCustomer Service ExperienceAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour dayAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAcceptable driving record
Preferred but not Required Experience and Skills
Distribution and/or wholesale experienceHVAC/ Plumbing/Building Products knowledgeForklift experienceExperience working in a warehouseExperience using RF Scanners
