This is a fixed term appointment for 1 year, with possible extension subject to funding

CASE (Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion) and STICERD (The Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines) are part of LSE’s vibrant research community, bringing together scholars in economics, social policy and related disciplines to produce rigorous, interdisciplinary research that shapes public debate and offers evidence‑based solutions to real‑world problems. We are seeking an experienced Research Manager to lead CASE’s research portfolio and support grant management within STICERD.

The role is split across both centres, with four days focused on CASE and one day on STICERD. At CASE, the post holder will oversee project delivery, budget management, compliance, and proposal development, while also supporting day-to-day operations, staff and visitor coordination, and event delivery. At STICERD, they will assist with financial management of grants, working closely with the HR and Finance Coordinator.

Candidates should have:

Strong financial management and budget monitoring skills. Experience in research administration or project management in an academic or research setting. Ability to make decisions and use initiative to manage tasks with a minimum of supervision.
