Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to lead Agri Sales operations across Maharashtra based out of Pune. The role involves managing channel networks, driving market development activities, and delivering strong business growth in the agriculture segment.
Key Responsibilities Sales ManagementLead the sales team in Maharashtra and ensure robust implementation of Daily Work Management (DWM)Drive Agri sales (Primary as well as Secondary) for the assigned territory (Maharashtra)Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsDevelop and execute market penetration strategiesChannel & Customer EngagementEnsure width and depth of distribution at secondary levelStrengthen dealer and electrician network to drive end-customer demandCollaborate with channel partners for business growth initiativesEnsure effective coverage and engagement across key marketsMarket DevelopmentPlan and execute Annual Sales Promotion (ASP) activities based on market needsIdentify new opportunities within the agriculture segmentBuild strong relationships with key stakeholdersReporting & SystemsEnsure timely and accurate reporting through SFDC (Salesforce)Maintain pipeline visibility and sales forecastingMarket IntelligenceTrack competitor activities and market trendsShare insights to support strategic decision-making Key Requirements 12-15 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2C segment or agri-related productsStrong understanding of the Maharashtra market landscapeProven track record of achieving sales targetsExperience in channel management and demand generationFamiliarity with CRM tools (SFDC preferred)Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Why Join Us Opportunity to work with leader in Electrical & AutomationOpportunity to work with a legacy brand backed by Schneider ElectricExposure to a high-growth segment (Agri & Rural electrification)Leadership role with strong career progression potential
