Job Purpose and Impact
The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for developing a reliable, consensus demand plan and orchestrating feasible supply plan to ensure products are available at the right time and right quantities. This role integrates demand forecasting, master scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework.
Key Accountabilities
Demand Planning Lead the creation of the statistical forecast using historical data and system toolsConsolidate commercial intelligence from Sales, Marketing, and GTM teams to refine short‑, mid‑, and long‑term forecasts.Lead monthly Demand Review cycles, including variance commentary, risk and opportunity identification, and forecast updatesContinuously monitor forecast accuracy and identify improvement actions. Supply Planning Convert the consensus demand plan into supply plans across weekly, monthly, and longer horizonsConduct capacity checks versus demand to flag constraintsLead monthly Supply Review cycles, including variance commentary, risk and opportunity identification, and forecast updatesTrading Products place reconditions for stock replenishment contracts and place orders to meet customer needs Inventory Planning Manage inventory strategyBalance service levels, working capital targets, and storage constraints. Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration Internal: Commercial/GTM, Production Planners, Operations (plant), Procurement/CSSP, Finance (FP&A), Logistics, Customer ServiceExternal: May interact with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and 3PLs where relevant to supply planning Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar rolesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to reconcile data from multiple planning systems and reports.Proficiency with SAP,IBP, Excel, and planning dashboards.Ability to communicate clearly under constrained or variable supply conditions.Experience in food manufacturing supply chains.
