The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lyndhurst team as a Customer Service Representative. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

Our customer centric team at Lysaght has a passion for service and team interaction, they represent the face of the business and always have the customer at the heart of everything they do. In this role, you will bring your experience and willingness to learn in order to support the team. You will interact and manage internal and external customer enquiries and relationships; either in person, through phone calls or through emails. As a self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week.

No prior steel industry experience is necessary. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

What Will You Do?

This position offers diversity and opportunity for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. Alongside general sales and customer service responsibilities, your duties will include:

interacting with our customers via phone and email managing quotes and queriesfollowing up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunitiescollaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetablecontinuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value propositionprovide internal support and regular feedback to relevant sales teams regarding customer and competitor informationMore About You
