The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for a Production Scheduling Supervisor to join the Operations Team based in Wangara. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
Schedulers play a key role in our operational teams; they coordinate and support operations through the scheduling of incoming customer orders for production and distribution and the logistics of delivering our products across the state. You will lead a small team of Schedulers in this key hands-on role. You will be a team player who enjoys liaising with different internal teams to ensure orders are delivered in full and on time. Success in this role will grow from your high attention to detail and ability to motivate and lead people, as well as being able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
What Will You Do?
Partnering closely with our production and sales teams, you will support our business to ensure product is delivered on time to our valued customers. Being quick to adapt and able to juggle multiple priorities at any given time, you will:
scheduling incoming customer orders for distributionutilising our in-house systems to transport schedule multiple delivery runsmanaging conflicting priorities and customer orders ensuring on-time deliveryactively seek out continuous improvement initiatives and implement to the wider teamworking with internal teams to resolve scheduling challengesleading a small team of schedulersbuilding and maintaining collaborative internal relationshipsMore About You
