About this role
As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will join our team in Coventry to support our activities within the Automotive sector. The programme is to support critical ISO 26262:2018 activities across several domains, including Assisted & Automated Driving, Body Control, and Vehicle Motion.

Delivering ISO 26262:2018 work products as outlined in the Functional Safety Plan.Maintaining key safety artifacts, including Item Definitions, HARAs, Functional Safety Concepts (FSC), and Functional Safety Requirements (FSR).Leading the development and execution of Integration, Verification & Validation test specifications.Owning all planned work products through to the completion of the Item Safety Case.Coordinating with suppliers and partners to ensure synchronized delivery and compliance via Development Interface Agreements (DIAs). Required Skills:
3+ years’ experience in functional safety engineering within one or more relevant domainsStrong working knowledge of ISO 26262:2018, particularly Parts 3 and 4 (FSC/FSR, ITS/ITR, SGVP/SGVR)Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Desirable Skills:
Experience supporting ASIL-level safety analyses (e.g., HARA, FTA, FMEA)Exposure to embedded systems or electric powertrain architectures Why join us?
