About this role
You will take on the operational lead responsibilities within our Travel & Expense function at SIXT, ensuring smooth execution of daily processes while supporting strategic improvements and providing professional leadership to the T&E team. This position is essential to maintain stability during organizational transition and ensure that Travel & Expense operations continue with high quality, compliance, and efficiency. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
You supervise the Travel & Expenses team, providing day-to-day direction, guidance, and support while managing workload distribution
You ensure all T&E processes run smoothly and efficiently, including timely review and processing of expense reports with high quality standards
You serve as the escalation point for complex cases, data issues, and exception handling while monitoring compliance with travel policies
You maintain strong process documentation and identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual effort
You coordinate closely with Finance, HR, Procurement to ensure seamless end-to-end processes
You support reporting activities and KPI tracking to provide insights into spending patterns and operational performance
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
Experience You have background in travel management, expense management, finance operations, or similar administrative functions
Leadership You possess first leadership experience with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop team members through coaching
Process expertise You demonstrate strong understanding of T&E processes, compliance standards, and process governance requirements
Communication You excel at stakeholder management with clear and consistent communication across all organizational levels
Organization: You maintain a structured working style with strong ownership mentality and exceptional attention to detail
Languages You are proficient in English with German skills being a strong plus
