About this role

We are seeking candidates for the role of Lecturer in Nursing to contribute primarily to the provision of our undergraduate nurse education programmes. You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a registered nurse (Adult/ Registered General Nurse). You will be expected to deliver innovative, high-quality teaching across a range of modules and provide support to students within clinical placement areas.

One of three faculties in the University, the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing has over 500 staff members and 11,000 students. The faculty comprises a wide and diverse range of subject areas, research and knowledge exchange activities.

The School of Nursing has over 140 staff and includes a wide range of professionally qualifying health care courses. We are growing to meet the needs of people who wish to work with a host of employers in healthcare and related areas. We include courses in nursing, nursing associate, public health and a wide range of continuing professional development opportunities. We have expanded on our newly developed skills centres to offer hands-on teaching of nursing and healthcare professions skills through a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art equipment.
