The Opportunity
As Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll coordinate delivery across Security Engineering product verticals including network security, email security and exposure management. Your work will safeguard enterprise technology and support An Electric Britain. This is a home-working role with occasional travel to our #Gloucester or #London office and a negotiable salary depending on experience.
You’ll govern intake, plan roadmaps, coach agile ways of working and manage delivery risks. You’ll align initiatives to architectural guardrails and service models, ensuring outcomes are secure, sustainable and ready for service transition.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Manager who brings clarity in fast-paced environments and thrives on human, positive collaboration. To be shortlisted, you’ll need:
Proven delivery leadership across federated teams and complex environmentsStrong agile coaching skills and experience embedding pragmatic SAFe practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesFamiliarity with security engineering practices across firewalls, CI/CD, testing and changeExpertise in Jira and Confluence for workload management and reportingAbility to transition solutions seamlessly into service and platform teamsDesirable experience includes working within a security team, reviewing network security designs for assurance and coordinating vendors or third parties.
What You’ll Be Doing
Governing inbound work and prioritisation against service principles for each product verticalMaintaining transparent delivery roadmaps and leading quarterly and semi-annual planningDriving end-to-end delivery across Security Engineering verticals:Network security – firewalls, segmentation and policy changesEmail security – secure email gateways and threat protectionExposure management – vulnerability visibility and remediation flowApplying pragmatic project management for larger initiatives including RAID and vendor coordinationFacilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams on agile principles and PI PlanningLeading capacity planning, contractor onboarding, allocation and performance managementOwning delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, planned versus actual and quality KPIsManaging Jira and Confluence dashboards with concise, decision-ready updatesChampioning secure-by-design and ensuring readiness for testing, change and deploymentEmbedding service design thinking so new capabilities meet operational standards and support modelsPay, Benefits and Culture
