About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Production Operator to join our Manufacturing Operations team in Stafford. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in the assembly and inspection of products, ensuring daily production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role is essential in supporting efficient manufacturing operations and ensuring products are built using the correct tools, current build standards, and approved process documentation.

What You'll Be Doing
Ensuring daily production targets are achieved, including supporting shift requirements where necessaryCarrying out assembly and inspection activities in line with standard operating proceduresMaintaining responsibility for the build quality of productsUsing the correct tools, equipment, and current process documentation during all assembly activitiesPerforming routine maintenance and cleaning of workstationsChecking equipment compliance including BV inspections, calibration, and PAT testingSupporting additional duties across the manufacturing facility as requiredCarrying out 5S inspections and supporting continuous improvement initiativesFollowing all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and GE Vernova safety guidelinesWorking collaboratively within the manufacturing team to meet operational goals Why This Role Matters

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
5 years experience within a light mechanical assembly or similar manufacturing environmentAbility to work effectively as part of a team-based environmentGood understanding of manual handling and workplace ergonomicsAbility to follow written standard operating procedures independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approachAbility to work to deadlines while maintaining high quality standardsProficient in written and spoken English Desirable Skills & Knowledge
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniquesKnowledge of Kanban and Flow/Pull manufacturing techniquesMechanical or electrical aptitudeKnowledge of VAV and LOTO procedures What We Offer
