The Role

As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of Law programmes. You'll support students on campus, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.

Lecturers are expected to be able to teach across foundation of legal knowledge modules.

It would be advantageous if applicants could teach on some or all of the following modules to support with our joint business programmes.

MGT5015 Corporate Finance

MGT5028 Marketing Strategy and Implementation

MGT5027 Management Accounting

MGT6018 Corporate Governance and CSR

MGT6027 Social Enterprise

Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

A first degree in a relevant Law-related field Postgraduate level academic qualification and/or professional qualification in law A relevant doctoral-level qualification and/or equivalent research profile and/or commensurate professional experience, or be near to completion of such a qualification Experience of teaching in UK Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of UK HE quality assurance and validation processes A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement Willingness to work towards a postgraduate teaching qualification within the first 18 months (if not already held)

Working Hours & Flexibility

40 hours per week (schedule will include evenings and/or weekends) Must be flexible to travel between our London Based campus locations including Central London and Northwest London.
