The Gas Turbine Assembler is responsible for the accurate and safe assembly, disassembly, and inspection of gas turbine components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures. The assembler works collaboratively with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and delivery requirements.

Role Summary / Purpose:
Assemble gas turbine components and modules according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standardsPerform mechanical assembly of rotors, casings, combustors, blades, vanes, bearings, and auxiliary systemsUse precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, feeler gauges) to verify tolerances and clearancesInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly proceduresFollow documented processes for bolting, torquing, alignment, and fit-up of componentsPerform component inspections and document results in accordance with quality and traceability requirementsIdentify, report, and help resolve non-conformances or assembly issuesAdhere strictly to safety procedures, including lifting, rigging, and handling of heavy or sensitive componentsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S or site standardsCollaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and other technicians to ensure correct assembly and schedule adherenceSupport disassembly, inspection, and reassembly activities during overhauls and repairsComplete required documentation, checklists, and electronic records accurately and on timeParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, cost, and deliveryComply with all company policies, environmental regulations, and regulatory requirements Qualifications / Requirements:
Technical background in mechanical or electrical assemblyBasic computer soft skill.Basic knowledge of English language. Desired Characteristics:
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practicesExposure to rotor assembly, balancing, or casing alignment activitiesFamiliarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) basics and inspection processesBasic understanding of gas turbine operation and performance principlesCertification in rigging, crane operation, or forklift handling Additional Information
