Overview
The Opportunity:
The Institutional Associate Director is a key asset to Fisher Investments Japan's institutional sales efforts building mutual understanding with prominent institutional prospective clients, providing updates on our firm and strategies and identifying opportunities to build long term and successful relationships. You will accomplish this by performing outreach on behalf of the Institutional Group Sales Relationship Managers, helping them strategically oversee and build their territory.
The Day-to-Day:
Regularly contact institutional prospective clients to uncover business opportunitiesAssess prospective client's interest, conduct introductory meetings with prospective clients via telephone, explain our structure and strategies, gather and document core information from prospective clientsSet appointments; meet minimum calling and appointment setting goals; work with Portfolio Specialists to help maintain and improve consultant relationshipsHelp create and maintain the Institutional Group mailing list for the periodic distribution of marketing materialsFulfill sales support requestsOversee assigned operational tasks to completionIdentify, create and develop documentation for groupSupport the growth of the business through various projectsFollow group and firm proceduresIdentify potential process improvements and recommend solutionsIdentify elevations and routes appropriatelyResponsible for properly handling confidential documents Your Qualifications:
Fluent in Japanese and EnglishBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredPrevious experience in asset management is a plusAbility to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environmentExcellent communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks Why Fisher Investments Japan:
