About our Industrial Metrology Division: ZEISS Industrial Metrology is a leader in the development and supply of CNC coordinate measuring machines and complete solutions for multidimensional metrology. We are a recognized partner to the automotive industry and its suppliers, and we also develop measurement solutions for other sectors. Our product line includes bridge-type, horizontal arm (column), and in-line coordinate measuring machines, as well as machines for measuring shapes, contours, and surfaces, and state-of-the-art industrial tomographs that perform virtually any type of measurement with maximum accuracy, high quality, and at high speed.

The Role: Work Location – Rio Grande do Sul (80%), rest of Brazil (20%)

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, calibration, and preventive and corrective maintenance of 3D measuring machines (gantry and column types), tomographs, and on-site optical systems. • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment installed at customer sites to prevent operational downtime, through the proper interpretation of data and application of technical knowledge/instructions, acting in accordance with quality, productivity, customer service, cost, safety, health, and environmental metrics. • Maintain accurate records of services performed to meet individual performance goals and ensure that equipment performance can be monitored. • Develop knowledge of the company’s products and services by working closely with other members of the Services team (engineers and junior technicians). • Ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with service, turnaround time, performance, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Technical background—Electronics, Mechatronics, Precision Mechanics, and related fields. • Valid driver’s license and availability for domestic and international travel. • A good command of English is essential.
