About this role

Your role We are looking for a curious, hands-on intern for 6 Months to support the development of a ZEISS startup initiative with a strong focus on AI — It’s not just about using a few AI tools, but designing ways of working where AI increasingly takes over parts of day to day execution.

• What you’ll work on:

• Supporting the setup and development of a ZEISS internal startup approach

• Contributing ideas on how to define guardrails for “Startup @ ZEISS”

• Supporting the design of an AI first Operating Model

• Bringing in fresh perspectives, challenging existing approaches, and actively shaping new structures

Your profile

• You are currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s)

• Ideally, your studies include a focus/specialization in Entrepreneurship, AI, Innovation, Startups, Digital Transformation, Business/Tech, or a related field

• Strong interest in startups, innovation, and corporate entrepreneurship

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and digital transformation

• A structured but creative mindset – you like to think big and make things concrete

• Proactive, hands on attitude and confidence in sharing ideas

• Very good communication skills in English
