Responsibilities
Crawford is looking for an Events & Field Marketing Specialist to support our growing Marketing Team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys planning, coordinating details, and helping teams put on successful customer events.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and energized by bringing people together, whether it's a grand opening, tradeshow, customer training session, or manufacturer supported event.
Essential Responsibilities
Event and Field Marketing Execution
Coordinate customer events across Crawford's 65+ branches in 8 southeastern states, including counter days, open houses, customer trainings, appreciation events, and new branch openingsManage event logistics such as rentals, catering, décor, signage, promotional materials, swag, and onsite setupProvide onsite support for multiple events per month, including setup and vendor coordination, check-in, and breakdownPartner with sales teams to ensure events align with local market needs and drive customer engagementCoordinate with manufacturing partners to secure sponsorships, giveaways, and promotional support Event Management and Communication
Schedule and lead internal planning meetings and maintain agendas, action items, and communicationsManage timelines, budgets, and planning documents for all events and field initiativesManage service provider relationships including gathering quotes, scheduling, and invoicingKeep organized records of event details, relevant contacts, and marketing assets Event Promotion and Field Support
Work with the marketing team to promote events and gather contentProvide field teams with tools and guidance to drive strong attendanceUse Crawford's tech stack to manage RSVPs, registrations, and communicationCommunicate event updates and registration lists with field leadership Report & Optimization
Track event performance including attendance and engagementCollect feedback from sales teams, vendors, and attendeesMaintain a calendar of events and field marketing activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve future events and streamline processesAssist with invoicing, tracking, collecting, and reporting on vendor sponsorships Qualifications
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in event coordination, field marketing, or related rolesStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency with MS Office and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar)Experience in electrical distribution or B2B marketing is a plus Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and transport materials up to 30-40 lbs (event supplies, signage, swag boxes)Comfortable standing for extended periods during onsite event setup and executionAbility to work occasionally early mornings or evenings depending on event schedulesComfortable traveling frequently across multiple states and locations What We Offer You
