Job Purpose and Impact
As a Product Line Specialist, you will support the performance, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of two key product lines within Cargill's Australian grain business.
Working closely with Product Line Managers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to product development, customer engagement, and operational delivery. You will help translate customer and market insights into product enhancements, support go-to-market activities and assist in improving processes through digital tools and automation.
This role plays an important part in ensuring our products operate effectively, meet customer needs, and deliver consistent value to the business.
Key Accountabilities
Product Support & Development - Support the development and optimisation of GrainFlow and Victory Canola products by contributing to product enhancements with a focus on improving efficiency and customer experience.Market & Customer Insights - Collect and analyse customer feedback and market insights to support product improvements and inform future development. Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitor activity.Go-to-Market Support - Assist in the execution of product launches and marketing activities, including supporting product content, communications, and adoption initiatives to drive engagement across target customer segments.Performance Tracking & Reporting - Support the monitoring of product performance by gathering and analysing data on adoption, usage, and customer feedback. Assist in identifying trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with stakeholders across origination, marketing, sales, and technical teams to support product execution and ensure alignment across activities.Customer Engagement - Engage with customers to gather feedback, support product understanding, and contribute to improving the overall customer experience
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years of relevant work experienceStrong interest in digital products, process improvement, and automationExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityAbility to work both independently and within cross-functional teams Preferred Knowledge of the Australian grains industry and supply chainExperience working with digital platforms or data-driven processesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teamsComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office toolsContinuous improvement mindset
