Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support a broad range of forecasting routines including the monthly 9 quarter forecast (FP&A and ALCO), regulatory forecasts (CCAR, MYFA, and RRP), annual budget, and process improvement initiatives. This role will report to the Loan Forecasting Manager for Commercial Banking Finance.
In this role, you will:Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professionalProvide a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standardsResearch key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecastingPerform work on significant and unique issues involving data and evaluation or highly complex situationsDevelop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planningLead team to meet the implementation of complex projects impacting one or more lines of businessEstablish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standardsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsUse validated models to provide deliverables for the monthly 9 quarter and regulatory forecastsPrepare presentations to summarize results or present complex topics in a concise and crisp mannerCreate trend analysis and research variancesExecute input/output controlsData compilation including retrieving from various financial systemsDocument model overlays, assumptions, and sensitivitiesAssist with model governance, risk rankings and performance monitoringSupport key management reporting processes including month end close and forecastingCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:4+ years of financial forecasting, regulatory forecasting and/or CCAR experienceStrong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare and present analysis and recommendationsStrong technical skills including reporting databases and Microsoft Office (and specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau)Experience in QRM would be preferredAbility to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environmentAbility to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and managementAbility to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing and fostering strong partnershipsAbility to influence and partner with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goalsSense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievementJob Expectations:This position offers a hybrid work scheduleThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipSpecific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $84,000.00 - $149,400.00 Benefits
