About this role

Responsibilities:

Data processing in financial systemsTimely and accurate booking of invoices/ executing payment proposals and running payments as per agreed payment calendarPreparing documents' entries and booking instructions for accounting documentsAnalysis of vendor accounts' balances (both for suppliers within Aptiv group and outside)Cooperation with OtC department in terms of account reconciliation in case of compensation or deduction done on client accountInvestigation and analysis of overdue and blocked open itemsControl over accuracy of financial postings, correction of errors and clearing of open positions on suppliers' accountsPreparing the liabilities cash flow analysis/forecast for TreasuryExtracting and preparation of PtP reports - standard reporting and ad-hoc analysis - and uploading them in the systemVerification and analysis of supplier's data and accounting documentsReconciliation of vendor balances and general ledger accounts - e.g. PtP sub ledgers, GR/IRYearly reconciliation of vendor balances for vendors indicated by Team Leader or under Accountant responsibility.Participation and support in month-end and year-end closing process, assigned by team leaderUploading and sending documents to the Scanning departmentCommunication with the Site and other teams within Aptiv as part of issues' resolution - effective collaboration and team workPerforming daily tasks and other activities according to the Standard Operational Procedures, review and update of those if necessary; escalation of all exceptions to the SupervisorCooperation with audit department in case of internal or external controlActing according to the SOX and internal control standardsParticipating in the projects and improvement actions, by supporting Supervisor/Project Manager where applicableSupport in ad-hoc and non-regular, non-standard activitiesOther activities requested by Supervisor Requirements:

Very good command of English languageProactivity and ability to take initiativeAble to organize self (and others if applicable) including effective scheduling, prioritization and time management skills. Demonstrates a ‘can do' attitudeStrong working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel), SAP. Oracle ERP would be an asset.Proactive, Vendor orientated and with intercultural competenceGood analytical skills and problem solving approach Why join us?
