Job Purpose and Impact

The National Key Account Manager partners with large-scale-farming customers to enhance business performance through a strong focus on financial health, cash flow optimization, and sustainable growth. The role drives value by combining commercial strategies with operational and financial insights, while mobilizing internal teams and external partners to deliver tailored solutions. This position also plays a key role in expanding the business by identifying new opportunities and engaging potential investors within and beyond the industry.

Key Accountabilities

Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of large, investor-driven customers, acting as the primary business partnerIdentify, lead, and convert commercial opportunities while developing long-term account growth and retention strategiesAnalyze customer financial performance, including cash flow, profitability, and investment efficiency, to drive business decisionsDevelop and execute integrated account plans combining commercial, financial, and operational solutionsPartner closely with technical teams to align operational performance with customer business and investment objectivesCollaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Pricing, etc.) to deliver tailored, value-driven solutionsAdvise customers on strategic priorities including expansion, cost optimization, and capital allocationFacilitate connections with banks, financial institutions, and alternative funding sources to support customer growthMonitor, review, and report on account performance, customer retention, market trends, and emerging opportunitiesIndependently resolve complex business and customer issues, ensuring high-quality service while escalating only when necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related fieldsStrong understanding of financial analysis and cash flow management8+ years of experience in Key Account Management or B2B commercial roles, with proven success managing large, complex customers or investor-led business modelsHaving experience, knowledge and network in agribusiness, animal nutrition industry is a strong advantageStrong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to optimize customer performanceProven business development and networking capability (Farm owner, investors, banks) Ability to develop integrated solutions across financial, operational, and commercial aspects
