About this role
CROWN Food Packing USA has immediate openings for safety conscious employees at its Toledo, Ohio. Crown Food places an emphasis on safety and adherence to Company standard operating procedures. Crown is a tobacco free workplace. Must be flexible to work any shift. Wage rate for this position is $20.60 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operate rewind end of coil coating line.
2. Visually inspect coils to make sure there are no defects in the paint or metal (trash in paint, dents, scratches, etc.)
4. Cut samples of coated coil for QC lab inspection.
5. Keep work area clean
6. Participate in safety and other training programs as required.
7. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
8. Operate Forklift. Experience is required.
DESIRABLE JOB REQUISITES:
Education/Training/Experience:
Exposure to production environment preferred
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong reading and comprehension skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong mechanical skills
Basic computer skills a must
Ability to maintain a positive presence in the workplace
