Job Description:
Vitalant is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, most days you'll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you'll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Base pay: $23.78 - $24.62

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you'll get to
• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed. • Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site • Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives. • Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process. • Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations. • Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites • High School Diploma or GED • Active driver's license with a clean driving record • Ability to complete and pass CDL license program • Ability to travel as required • Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months • Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
