Responsibilities:
The Senior Fintech, Digital Partnerships and Ventures CISSEE, is responsible for identifying and implementation of perspective opportunities as well as supporting implemented strategic partnership opportunities with organizations of all sizes within the CISSEE geography focusing on GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan clusters. The Senior Manager is devoted to multi-market and cross-country approach helping new partners to start their operations with Visa simultaneously in several markets & regions.The role requires an experienced business development professional with tech background who can act as project manager internally and externally during complex products implementation in junction with technical functions as well as supporting already implemented projects after the launch ensuring their performance in close collaboration with partners.The role will report to the Senior Director, Digital Partnerships Fintech & Ventures CISSEE and will work closely with Visa Core Product and Digital Solutions as well as other stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, Consulting etc. teams to execute partnership agreements and deliverables that are typically highly complex, strategic and cross-functional in nature.Specific responsibilities
Segment/Regional Expertise:
Participate in the development of the overall CISSEE Segment & Regional strategy, with a focus on the GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan clustersExecute the overall GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan Segment & Regional strategy, specifically for Digital Partnerships and Ventures initiativesDrive the partnership process from the very beginning: client evaluating, deal structuring, pitching to the client and deal signing. Support partners from the first point of contact to production launch, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, paying continuous attention to Client satisfaction and potential NPSLead and coordinate licensing process to ensure smooth provision of licenses both associate and principal. Provide Client’s with comprehensive support during licensing process helping to fill necessary forms, navigate via VPP portal, as well as ensure prompt assistance for internal functions regarding all related questionsSupport strategic partners in GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan through a strong engagement with both cross-functional Visa teams and partner project teams leveraging Visa solutions across all product platformsContinuously review GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan landscape, identifying new opportunities and developing strategic partnerships that will position Visa as the market leader and enhance Visa capabilitiesAccount Management:
Participate in development of the account strategy, setting objectives, and planning to increase revenue and market share from existing partners in the GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan clustersExecute account strategy, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market share for selected strategic partners accounts in GAM, Ukraine and AzerbaijanLead the account and relationship management and sales plan for these accounts, ensuring that the client’s business objectives are metWorking with the innovation, business development, product teams: recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to grow client’s business. Cross-sell Visa API, Visa Direct, VAS and Visa consulting servicesLead the development, negotiation and signing of proposals by working with various internal stakeholders and relationships with strategic partner managersExecution:
Work with cross functional teams to ensure partner implementations are on track and delivering against planTake the lead in solving the problems that arise during the execution of programs with partnersProactively identify and solve complex problems that impact the management, relationship and direction of the businessContribute in modeling financial deals with potential strategic partnersKeep the account plan, budget, and projects pipeline up to date for every managed partnerLead continuous business review for Group and Regional reviewsEnsure partner participation and engagement during Visa GCESDeliver ad-hoc analyses to support Partner business and product development including by means of Visa solutions and consulting services expanding Visa businessContribute to the creation of client-specific go-to-market strategies by managing collaboration among various internal Visa departments such as Marketing, PR, and Product teamsCommunication:
Interact with internal teams and executives to indicate the status of the partnership progressFoster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with the clients and the Visa organizationProactively educate the GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan BD organization on market developments and partner opportunitiesEnsure the knowledge and best practices sharing across the CEMEA markets, as well as cross-regionally. Establish cross-regional communication within DP&V team in order to ensure capabilities for GAM, Ukraine and Azerbaijan partners to expand to other marketsThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
A minimum of 5 years business experience with related sales and management experience in the payments, mobile, software or technology services industryDeep understanding of CISSEE payment landscape and Business Development proven record in the regionPayments or financial services industry experience requiredProven record of implementing strategic initiatives, policies and operational decisionsStrategic thinking and thought leadershipTeamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and exampleProven ability to partner, communicate and manage & navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groupsExperience managing up, building internal communications and delivering presentationsAbility to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and to influence senior management and other relevant partiesBachelor degree requiredStrong written and oral communication, including large-group presentationsTeam oriented, collaborative and flexibleAbility to influence and work within matrixed environment Visa is an EEO Employer.
