Job Title: Home Care Category Management Lead, UK Location: Kingston
JOB PURPOSE:
The role of the Home Care category management team is to be the preferred partner for retailers, by being objective experts who will deliver plans that will grow the category, our customers and Unilever, through value creation. Key deliverables are:
• Category Strategy Development • Driving Category Growth • Develop the Home Care Perfect Store Program & oversee execution for Category Management • Providing Strategic Insights & Influencing Homecare Innovation pipeline • Objective Category Perspective for our strategic retail partners • Optimizing Assortment
This role sits on the Homecare Leadership team, championing the voice of our retailers and customers internally, and shapes our category strategy & vision externally by partnering our CSP & marketing teams to deliver winning category growth plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Unbiased Shopper-Led, Data Driven Relationships with Top Customers
• Lead the Customer agenda externally to offer unbiased category growth consultancy to UK customers that drive overall category growth across the Home Care Categories (Fabric Cleaning, Fabric Enhancers, Surface Care, Toilet & Bleach)
Omni- Channel growth solutions for top customers
• Partner with Category Strategy & Insights team members to establish ‘fixture of the future’ and category vision design for each major customer, in line with their strategic priorities
Customer Category Growth Strategies (CCGS) and Category Value Drivers (CVDs)
• Align Category Value Drivers against high value shoppers by customer/channel to identify omni conversion opportunities
• Channel live customer and shopper insights to the organization to impact long-term customer strategies and innovation pipelines
Revolutionize & elevate the role Customer Data plays in how we win with customers
• Assess the current data & insights ecosystems of our market & channel teams against the will/skill of our key customers regarding category management analytics
• Partner with the Data & Analytics team to establish a foundational & disruptive roadmap of actionable solutions to unlock sustainable growth for the category, our customers and Unilever
Develop & Execute the Homecare Perfect Store Program
• In conjunction with CSP and CBD teams
Elevate Catman expertise across UK Homecare Category team
• Develop high performing team and build Category Management domain expertise in the wider organisation

Relevant Experiences
• Prior experience in a CD local role
• Prior experience leading CSP/Cat Man in market & working in/with customer partners
• Shopper Insight experience would be helpful
