We are looking for senior geotechnical engineers who are passionate about sustainability, and keen to work in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of geotechnical services for a wide range of projects — focusing on residential and commercial sectors — often in collaboration with other disciplines at Whitby Wood.

You will need to be a dab hand with a pencil, able to command the respect of colleagues and clients, and experienced in successfully leading teams across a number of projects. The ideal candidate digits and skills … — 5+ years’ experience in geotechnical design — Degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a related discipline — Chartered status, or working towards chartership, desirable — Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — Enthusiasm for ground engineering and professional growth — Proven experience with geotechnical software, such as PLAXIS, Oasys Site, GeoStudio £49,000 - £58,000 depending on experience
