About this role

The Off-Broadway production of Amaze is seeking a Full-Time Company Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the production and serve as a key liaison between the cast, creative team, production staff, and producing office.

The Company Manager plays an essential role in maintaining a well-organized, professional, and supportive environment for the company while ensuring smooth coordination across departments.

This is a full-time position aligned with the weekly performance schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Company & Artist Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for cast and company members regarding scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day needs

• Foster a positive and professional working environment for all members of the production

• Coordinate onboarding for new company members and provide orientation to company procedures and theatre policies

• Support the well-being of the company by addressing routine questions and facilitating communication with the producing team

Scheduling & Communication

• Create and distribute weekly company schedules and company notices

• Maintain accurate company contact lists and records

• Communicate schedule changes, rehearsals, press events, and special calls to the company

• Coordinate rehearsal calls, understudy rehearsals, and additional company meetings as required

Production & Theatre Coordination

• Liaise between the cast, stage management team, venue staff, and producing office to ensure clear communication across departments

• Assist in coordinating company participation in press appearances, marketing events, and special performances

• Support production and technical teams with company logistics as needed

• Ensure company adherence to venue policies and theatre protocols

Box Office & Marketing Coordination

• Liaise with the New World Stages box office team to ensure timely release and management of house seats, production holds, and ticket allocations

• Review and sign weekly box office statements as required by the production

• Coordinate communication between the producing office, marketing team, and box office regarding ticket holds, comps, and special ticketing needs

• Visit the TKTS booth periodically to maintain relationships and ensure accurate representation of the production

• Assist in coordinating company attendance at press events, promotional appearances, and marketing initiatives when required

Company Administration

• Maintain company documentation including emergency contact information and company records

• Assist in organizing company meetings, special events, or company communications

• Coordinate company-related logistics for special performances or invited guest events

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Company Manager, Assistant Company Manager, or Stage Manager in theatre, touring productions, or live entertainment

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment

• Professional, calm, and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving

• Experience working in Off-Broadway, regional theatre, or touring productions preferred

Schedule

• Full-time, aligned with the weekly performance schedule

• Some evening and weekend availability required

$55,000-$70,000 annually
