Responsibilities
• Connect with individuals to understand their financial challenges and guide them through options.
• Support the setup and management of insolvency files, including bankruptcies and consumer proposals.
• Review financial information and assist in analyzing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare key documentation required under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, creditors, and other stakeholders—offering clear, empathetic communication throughout the process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with professionals in the community, including credit counsellors, lawyers, and accountants.
• Participate in outreach activities, presentations, and online engagement to promote debt solutions and financial wellness.
• Bring a thoughtful and analytical approach to understanding assets and liabilities, helping clients make informed decisions.
• Contribute to improving client experience and contribute ideas to enhance service delivery.
• Be open to local travel when required.
Skills and Experience
• 4–5 years of insolvency experience performing initial client consultations and assessing financial situations.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, especially assets and liabilities, with an analytical mindset.
• Comfortable using technology and quick to learn new tools—you're tech-savvy and have a strong inclination toward digital solutions.
• Strong communication skills—you're comfortable speaking with people in sensitive situations and can explain complex topics clearly.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills—you keep things on track even in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Completion of insolvency-related courses (e.g., Insolvency Administration or BIA Insolvency Counsellor) is an asset.

The annual salary range for this position is: $52000 - $82000
