About this role
Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager (CCM), the Surgical Charge plays a pivotal leadership role in coordinating and overseeing the delivery of safe, high-quality Surgical inpatient nursing care as well as providing after hours leadership to the Maternity and Mental Health departments. As both a clinical and administrative resource, the Charge supports nursing staff, manages patient flow and bed utilization, and ensures that care is delivered in alignment with professional standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols.
