About this role
YMCA Camp Loma Mar is a traditional overnight summer camp in the redwoods, serving youth ages 7–17. Campers join age-based villages — Cubs, Bobcats, and Mountain Lions — and grow into leadership through our teen programs (LITs and CAs). Summer Camp Counselors are the heart of camp. You’ll live, laugh, problem-solve, and adventure with your campers while leading outdoor activities, team challenges, campfire traditions, and the daily rhythm of camp life. Counselors create a safe, positive, and memorable experience for campers, families, and staff. You’ll model YMCA core values — honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring — while helping campers build confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills. Ready to trade screens for campfires?
