About this role
As a member of the Early Childhood team, the Early Childhood Aide assists the Early Childhood Teacher within assigned classroom(s) to create and implement development-based programs for children ranging from six weeks of age to 5 years old. Early Childhood Aides address the emotional, cognitive, social, and physical needs of both individual and groups of children while effectively communicating with parents. The Early Childhood Aide must always be under the direct observation of at least an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher and may not be alone with children.
