About this role
Job Description: The nursing educator, in conjunction with the unit’s patient care managers. In addition, the nursing educator can provide additional education to other staff members as needed. The nursing educator works together with the other educators and director of nursing education to design, implement, maintain, and monitor the effectiveness of educational programs, including performance improvement activities within the department. Requirements/Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse Licensure BCLS, ACLS and PALS MSN required Recommended certification in area of expertise CCRN PREFERRED
