Material Handler
Location: Woodruff, SC
Job Type: Full-Time with Benefits
Base Pay: $16.50/hour + applicable shift differential
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable, safety-focused Material Handlers to join our warehouse operations team. This is a hands-on, physical warehouse position responsible for safely receiving, moving, storing, loading, and unloading product using a variety of powered material handling equipment.
Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required—we will provide training. Employees must be willing and able to become trained and qualified on all material handling equipment required for their position, including equipment that operates at elevated heights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Safely operate a variety of powered material handling equipment after completing required training and qualification.
· Operate equipment at elevated heights as required by the position.
· Load and unload product from trailers and containers.
· Receive, move, stage, pick, put away, and prepare product for shipment.
· Manually handle product throughout the shift, including lifting and moving product weighing up to 55 lbs.
· Use RF equipment and warehouse systems to accurately complete transactions.
· Perform required equipment inspections and immediately report safety or equipment concerns.
· Follow all safety procedures, company policies, work instructions, and established operating standards.
· Maintain established productivity and quality expectations without compromising safety.
· Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
· Assist with other warehouse functions and operational needs as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Willingness and ability to learn and safely operate all required types of material handling equipment, including equipment that operates at elevated heights.
· Ability to consistently lift and handle product weighing up to 55 lbs.
· Ability to perform physical warehouse work throughout the scheduled shift.
· Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment around powered equipment and moving product.
· Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
· Dependable attendance and work history.
· Ability to work the full schedule associated with the assigned shift.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
· 1–3 years of previous sit-down forklift or other powered material handling equipment experience.
· Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar experience.
· Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
Previous equipment experience is preferred but is not required. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation & Earning Potential
Base Pay
The starting warehouse base rate is $16.50/hour.
Employees have multiple opportunities to increase their earnings based on attendance, performance, skills, assigned shift, and productivity:
· First-Year Wage Progression: Opportunity to earn up to an additional $1.50/hour during the first year based on satisfactory attendance and performance.
· Annual Reviews: Employees are eligible for annual performance reviews with the opportunity for merit increases.
· Skill-Set Incentives: Employees may earn up to an additional $2.50/hour by becoming qualified in designated skill sets.
· Shift Differentials: Additional hourly pay is provided for designated night and weekend shifts.
Available Shifts
A1 – Weekday Days
Starting Rate: $16.50/hour
· Monday–Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
· Thursday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
A2 – Weekend Days
Starting Rate: $19.50/hour Includes $3.00/hour shift differential
· Thursday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
· Friday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
C1 – Weekday Nights
Starting Rate: $17.75/hour Includes $1.25/hour shift differential
· Monday–Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
· Thursday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
C2 – Weekend Nights
Starting Rate: $20.75/hour Includes $4.25/hour shift differential
· Thursday: 11:55 PM – Friday 6:00 AM
· Friday–Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
