About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Supporting mobility, independence and wellbeing.
• Encouraging good nutrition and hydration.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Supporting residents living with dementia.
• Assisting with nursing and palliative care needs.
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns.
• Completing accurate care records and documentation.
• Working closely with Registered Nurses and the wider care team.
• Helping to maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment.
About You
We're looking for people who:
• Have previous experience providing care and support to older people.
• Are compassionate, patient and respectful.
• Are reliable and committed to delivering excellent standards of care.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Work well as part of a supportive team.
• Take pride in making a positive difference to residents' lives.
Previous experience within a care home, nursing home or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
