About this role
The Teacher Assistant or Aide works under the supervision of a certified Teacher in our 853 school. Assist classroom teachers “in the performance of their teaching functions by performing those Non-teaching duties otherwise performed by such regular teacher of teachers.” [Education Law, Section 3009 (2) (a)]. This is a 12 month position.
