About this role
The Custodian incumbent is responsible for cleaning the facilities of the University of Redlands. Daily vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning and sanitation, cleaning of fixtures, window cleaning, floor cleaning, interior and exterior trash removal, and additional tasks (i.e., furniture moving) as assigned. Reporting to the Custodian Manager or Supervisor, ensure all facilities are maintained at a high level of cleanliness for all academic, administrative, and residential buildings. Responsibilities may include weekend work, temporary cover and maintain additional area when short staffed and may also include after-hours emergency response and cleaning. Work schedule is subject to change at any time to meet the business need of the University.
