About this role
The Mechanical Designer develops jigs, fixtures, and production support tools to enhance machining and manufacturing efficiency. This role prepares detailed CAD drawings, assembly documentation, and technical specifications while collaborating with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams. It optimizes existing fixtures, troubleshoots engineering issues, and ensures reliable implementation on the production floor. Proficient in SolidWorks and industrial processes, the designer applies strong problem-solving, precision, and organizational skills to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in UCT’s Israel operations.
