About this role
Primary Responsibilities:
The construction civil lead is responsible for assisting with providing direction and coordinating activities relating to civil tasks or projects at all facilities.
• Ensure employees follow safe work practices
• Confer with management/department heads to plan and schedule activities with
• Have knowledge of all phases of carpentry work, such as, layouts, forming, blueprint reading, dry wall, trim, doors, cabinets, and painting
• Have knowledge in the use of all power tools
• Assist in leading civil construction group
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies
• Operate heavy equipment
Job Experience: A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Outstanding safety
• Good verbal and communication skills
• Attention to detail in all areas
• Ability to grasp concepts easily
• Flexibility with working overtime and weekends as needed
• Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience
• Operate equipment such as an excavator, dozer, dump truck, and forklift
• Knowledge of concrete pours, grading, and site preparation
• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment a plus
