Key Responsibilities
• Assist the culinary team with food preparation for banquets, weddings, and special events
• Help with basic prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, preparing garnishes, and portioning ingredients
• Support chefs with plating and finishing dishes during large event service
• Maintain clean and organized prep stations, walk-ins, and storage areas
• Assist with loading, transporting, and setting up food for banquet service
• Help restock kitchen supplies, ingredients, and service equipment
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and banquet teams to keep service running smoothly
• Assist with post-event breakdown, cleaning, and resetting kitchen areas
• Jump in wherever needed during busy service periods
Ideal Candidate
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Able to work on their feet and lift up to ~40 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Prior kitchen, prep, or food service experience is helpful but not required
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
