About this role

We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Cook and dishwasher/prep position at Currie Municipal Golf Course. This is full time job, Perfect for those who are looking for a fast paced culinary position. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and hone your skills. General Purpose: Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guest consumption and guest enjoyment.

Essential Duties:

• Assists in the food preparation for the assigned station including; pantry, broiler/grill or sauté.

• Prepares and cooks ordered items during restaurant service according to Chef's specifications.

• Inspects all stations in Kitchen at the end of each shift to make sure they are all broken down and cleaned to sanitation standards.

• Ensures proper food storage methods, labeling, rotation and temperature controls for all food items.

• Ensures proper portion control and proper plating presentations.

Non-Essential Functions:

• Other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Average knowledge of industrial equipment including range, ovens, slicer, deep fryer and grill. 2-3 years line experience a must. Culinary degree preferred.

Details: Full-Time hourly. Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Includes full benefit package, vac/sick/hol, 401k+match.
