Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating
• Describe specials of the day to guests; answer questions regarding any menu item and offer suggestions when appropriate
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and deliver food promptly after preparation
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
• Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
• Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
• Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques
• Practice tray service for all food and beverage service
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position
Other Qualifications:
• Regular and reliable attendance
