Harrison Meadows Country Club is seeking a full-time Sauté/Grill Cook! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
General Purpose:
The Sauté/Grill Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. This position plays a critical role in executing à la carte and banquet service with consistency, speed, and attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare and execute all grilled menu items including proteins, sandwiches, and accompaniments according to recipes and plating standards
• Maintain proper cooking temperatures, portion control, and food presentation at all times
• Set up and break down the grill station before and after service
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards and ticket times
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with local health regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked grill station throughout service
• Communicate effectively with chefs, expeditors, and fellow line cooks during service
• Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and labeling as needed
• Properly store food items following FIFO standards
• Support other kitchen stations as business levels require
